Baroness X: Monthly Mythical Mysteries- February Spoiler Post

I’m back with February’s monthly mythical mystery! We’re continuing on with this years space them and this month I have Ploutos to share!

Here is the leaflet included with the box:

Swatches show three coats with topcoat. Formula is a medium/light feel when applying that will feel sheer on the first coat but builds to complete opacity for me at three (even with my very obnoxious free edge). My nails are completely smooth to the touch after topcoat. I’d describe the base as an off white, with the faintest touch of tan in there. The shifting glass microflakes give a nice scattered sparkle, and shift from gold to pink easily. The overall mood is soft and delicate, with the larger shifting flakes applying in a scattered look to round out the whole appearance.

Included in this months box is a vial of acetone antidote in the scent blood orange and goji. I can see why this is a fan favorite, it smells dominantly of a ripe orange, almost grapefruit like. It’s crisp and clean. You can add acetone antidote to 6-8 ounces of pure acetone to give a moisturizing effect on your cuticles while keeping the powerful removing properties to your acetone. It’ll leave a nice lingering scent to your nails after removing your polish. Personally, I add one vial (read: potion bottle) to 6 ounces for maximum scent load and moisture.

That rounds off February’s box, did you get it? I’m realizing there isn’t a scent that Demi makes that hasn’t knocked my socks off. I’m definitely adding blood orange and goji into my rotation for smelly goods from the shop. Let me know your thoughts, and if you’re a rabid crelly lover like yours truly!

Thanks so much for reading! ❤
