Hello nail geeks! Today I have Blush Lacquer’s contribution for June Hella Handmade Creations. This is an exclusive to HHC, but I’ll have all links at the bottom per usual.
This month, Blush’s theme is Pushing Daisies. The Pie Maker is described as a vibrant sky blue base with an orange to gold shifting shimmer (green at extreme angles) and holo flakes.
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula has a rich feeling that applies very opaque from the first brush stroke. Personally, I think anything over two coats would be overkill for this one given how creamy it is. It does dry down a bit matte, so I’d recommend a glossy topcoat to bring all the shimmer out. The shimmer is very strong in person and easily shifts from a dominant pink to oranges and golds on tilt. The holo flakes laid down flat for me, and my nails were smooth after topcoat. The base is truly gorgeous, you guys. It’s a bright sky blue that I think would look great on any skin tone. I love shades like this, they’re so loud on your nails. The wide brush compliments the application perfectly, the polish stay were you put it and evenly coats the nail.
The Piemaker will be $13 and release Thursday, June 14th at 12:01am EST until Thursday, June 21st 11:59pm HST (Hawaiian time) in the HHC shop. Blue lovers pick this one up, it’s so pretty!
Thanks so much for reading! ❤
