Night Owl Lacquer: More Fall Feels Collection

Hello Nail Geeks! Night Owl Lacquer has a continuation for her Fall Feels collection that released last year. This year, we have five new pretties loaded with flakes and buttery formulas ahead! Also, a new creme of the month!! Let’s get to it!

Rustling Leaves– a clear base packed full of red/copper/orange/gold ultra chrome chameleon flakes and bright copper shimmer.

Swatches show three coats with Patience Not Required topcoat. This is probably more intended as a topper, but I wanted to see what this beauty looked like on her own and I was not disappointed! In my swatch video you’ll see the first coat is a dense topper appearance so it’ll definitely add loads of shifty flakes to your base. On it’s own it builds super easily and depending on nail length you might be able to get away with two medium coats. Flakes picked up easily for me and stayed flat on the nail during application. I saw shifts of all sorts of warm tones, reds, coppers, gold, and oranges. No texture after topcoat.

Windswept– a charcoal grey with bright copper shimmer and lots of red/copper/orange/gold ultra chrome chameleon flakes.
Swatches show three thin coats with Patience Not Required topcoat. Formula starts off feeling light, but builds easily and has a super buttery feel. The base is a medium charcoal and the flakes warm up the final look. No texture after topcoat and super flattering.

Every Leaf Speaks Bliss To Me– a creamy ivory with bright copper shimmer and lots of red/copper/orange/gold ultra chrome chameleon flakes.
Swatches show three thin coats with Patience Not Required topcoat. Formula has a buttery feel during application and for a light colored crelly, the brush strokes were super satisfying and easy peasy to use. The flakes create a lovely pond effect, and the base is an off white. No texture after topcoat.

Fall Together– a blackened teal with bright copper shimmer and lots of red/copper/orange/gold ultra chrome chameleon flakes.
Swatches show three coats with Patience Not Required topcoat. In person this one is super vampy and dark. You’ll see the teal tint peek out in bright lights. Formula is smooth applying and no texture after topcoat here either. The flakes give a super pretty rainbow effect over the dark base, almost like a sparkle. Like the others in this collection, no issues picking up flakes and they all laid down perfectly flat for me.

Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice– a dark russet brown with bright copper shimmer and lots of red/copper/orange/gold ultra chrome chameleon flakes.
Swatches show three coats with Patience Not Required topcoat. Formula has that same rich, buttery feel and builds easily. This one was a surprise favorite for me as I’m not usually a brown polish type of gal, but I really enjoyed how it looked on me and the flakes give a smoldering appearance. No texture after topcoat.

Creme of the Month!
Olive Me Loves Olive Fall– a dark olive green creme
Swatches show three thin coats with Patience Not Required topcoat. This one has a more jelly like feel during application, compared to other creams I’ve worked on. It builds easily, so don’t let that scare you. The formula also has really nice self leveling that I didn’t have to worry about brush strokes with. After using the NOL topcoat, it gave an ultra glossy gel like appearance. If you haven’t tried NOL cremes yet, I highly recommend them.

The creme of the month will be $7, and around for quite some time (at least three months). The Fall Feels collection from 2017 is in the shop, along with this new continuation! All are $9, except Rustling Leaves which is $11. You can snag the set for $44 😉 Be sure to check out my swatch video to see these beauties in action!

Thanks so much for reading! ❤
