Hello lovely readers! Today I have stunners from Cirque colors to share with you all! The Celestial collection is a trio of absolutely breathtaking, shimmer filled beauties that are so very gorgeous. I’ll link you guys to my swatch video at the end of this post so you can see them in action. Seriously, so good. Also, I’ve got three cremes to show you all- this month Purples and Pinks are on sale in the shop!
The Celestial Collection
Luna: a thermal nail polish that changes to dark violet when cold and turquoise when warm. It features teal shimmer and delicate holographic sparkle.
Swatches show two coats with glossy topcoat. Formula feels on the medium side and applies very smooth. This shimmer is very strong in this one, and really pops on the cold state. The sparkle is of the finer type of holographic particles to me, so it adds a scattered twinkle across the nail. Dry time on all three of the Celestial polishes is very quick, with very strong thermal properties that is super sensitive.
Terra: a thermal nail polish that changes to purple when cold and light blue when warm. It features strong copper shimmer and delicate holographic sparkle.
Swatches show three coats with topcoat. Formula on this one felt a touch lighter that the other two, but I will say that going in with a heavier hand you can easily get away with two coats. I went for third for demonstration purposes on my video. This one dries down matte too so I’d suggest a glossy topcoat to really have the shimmer pop.
Sol: a thermal polish that changes to purple when cold and baby pink when warm. It features vibrant pink shimmer and delicate holographic sparkle.
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula felt very similar to Luna, and built up very quickly. The shimmer is crazy strong here too and really pops in the cool state. This also dries down matte, so once again I’d recommend a glossy topcoat. Similar lovely twinkle from those fine holo particles and they give an overall scattered twinkle across the nail.
Now I wanted to do a quick comparison shot for all three, as I’ll be honest I thought they were similar when I took them out of their boxes. HOWEVER they are totally not and are only related through their color palette. So very gorgeous, you can’t go wrong with any of these.
Bond St: a rich berry pink creme
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. This has a lovely, rich satisfying feel on the brush strokes and gives you that plump gel mani appearance. It dries down glossy as well so I think any topcoat will be just fine. The formula is also very forgiving and has a fantastic self leveling quality. My swatches are leaning a little more pink that what I see in person, I think my swatch video will give a better color representation.
Velvet Underground: a lush dark violet creme
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Velvet has a very similar feel to Bond st in richness, self leveling and formula. I’l admit, my camera royally freaked out on this one so I think it looks off on my monitor and almost patchy. Fail on my part, but just know it’s super satisfying and opaque in person. I’d describe it as a dark concord grape.
The Devil Wears Cirque Colors: a classic medium red creme.
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Once again, lovely formula that self levels easily and is very forgiving. I do feel this this one had an almost jelly feel during application though so I’ll say 2-3 coats for full opacity depending on nail length and application preference. My swatches are leaning warm (my camera was being a total brat on all three of these for some reason) but just note: this is a cool toned very flattering red in person. Again, my video will do it better justice.
All of these pretties are available in Cirque’s shop, and now through February 28th at midnight EST all pinks and purples are 20% off in the shop, no code needed! Be sure to check out my swatch video so you can see the thermals in action!
Thank you so much for reading! ❤
