Hello again readers! I’m continuing with my Polish Con series with Quixotic Polish! This collection is not exclusive to the show, however they will be launching there at a discounted price! If you’re like me and have been anticipating this collection since the lovely Nicole’s teasing swatches- now we wait NO MORE!! Let’s get to the goodies!

Funny Creature– a striking cobalt blue base with green to purple shifting shimmer and green/violet shifting iridescent micro flakes
$11 online
$10 Show Price

Swatches show three coats with topcoat. Formula has a touch of a jelly feel, with a bright true cobalt blue in my opinion. The shimmer easily shifts from an aqua green to purple at angles and laid down nice and flat for me. For opacity I’ll say between 2-3 coats depending on application preference.

And here I mattified it with Quixotic’s Truly, Mattely, Deeply Matte topcoat. Drool.

Absolute Monarch- a super vibrant multichrome that shifts mainly between magenta, green and copper. This polish features multiple multichromatic pigments that give a spectacular look.

Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is on the medium side and builds up quickly. This is insanely shifty. Normally I try to show color rolls through my macros, but as you can see here on my full hand shots it was just screaming at us with it’s shifty glory. It also has a metallic feel to it overall, and applies very smooth. You’ll easily see it shift from a rich magenta, to gold, to green with a touch of blue at extreme angles. Polishes like this make swatching so much easier when it practically photographs itself.

Lamplighter- A dazzling array of holo particles shine through a base of Aurora shifting shimmer that move from purple to red to green in certain lights
$10 show price

Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula feels medium to me, and applies nice and plump on the nail. The holo effect is strong, however the shimmer does not take a backseat to it. In person this is very luminescent with a strong purpley-pink glow that shifts to green and gold. No texture after topcoat.

Draw me a sheep- A delicate baby pink base with a touch of holo sparkles and delicately decorated with lime to indigo iridescent flakes
$9 show Price

Swatches show three coats with topcoat. Formula feels on the medium/light side. This one reminds me of a french mani in the type of baby pink that it is. It’s delicate and soft with the sparkles appearing subtle and the flakies giving an iridescent shift. No texture after topcoat.

Le Petit Prince- A blue base dances with a purple to copper to green shifting shimmer and finished with holo flair
$11 online
$10 show price

Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula feels super smooth and buttery on the nail with strong opacity build up. The base color leans a touch indigo to me, and glows strongly with the shimmer appearing as a light purple and easily shifting to copper and green at angles. The holo is strong here and just super wonderful overall.

Peculiar Planet- A greyed out periwinkle base features holo micro sparkles, green/blue iridescent flakes and purple/copper shifting shimmer
$10 online
$9 show price

Swatches show three coats with topcoat. This is another lovely glow-y color too. At night in the street lights it positively popped on my nails (had to take a break from swatching and take the puppers out lol). The base color is what I would consider a dusky purple with a periwinkle lean. This one has strong shimmer that gives a pinky glow and shifts to purple and green on angles. I had no problems with the flakes and no texture after topcoating.

Homesick- An orchid base with a heavy dose of aurora color shifting shimmer and red/green and blue/green iridescent flakes with a light touch of holo sparkle
$11 online
$9 show price

Swatches show three coats with topcoat. Formula feels a touch on the jelly side but built up quickly. This is one of my favorite shades, it’s orchid with a bit of a purpley- mauve lean to it for it’s base. The shimmer is super strong and gives a glowing effect of a warm pink to gold with flakes that are shifting all over the place on their own. No texture after topcoat.
