Hello again lovelies! I have a lovely flakie filled collection and two ultra buttery creams to show you guys! I am so very thankful and honored to have collaborated with Lyndsey for the June COTM so I may get a little ham like in the end of this post 😉 Let’s get to some pretty polishes!
You’re All Terrible -Inspired by Bob, this is a pale grey crelly base full of charcoal sparkle flakes and white sparkle flakes. $9
Swatches show three coats with Patience Not Required topcoat (seriously I use this like 99% of the time in my posts). Formula feels like a true crelly and builds up easily, and dries down quickly. No issues to report with the plethora of flakies here, and no texture after topcoat.
Nonsense or MOM-sense? – Inspired by Linda, this is a bright red crelly base full of saphire blue/bright blue/teal multichrome flakes. $10
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is ultra glossy, super buttery and stays where you put it. No issues here either, I normally give my bottles a good shake before applying and I easily picked up all the flakes here and they laid down wonderfully for me. I worry this color will skew across monitors, so just know this is a very bright red in person.
Photographic Butt Memory – Inspired by Tina, this is a bright blue crelly base full of teal/blue/purple multichrome flakes. $10
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Again, formula is so very smooth and creamy on application and builds very fast to opacity. All of these have fantastic self leveling and require minimal brush strokes.
I Can Smell Fear on You – Inspired by Louise, this is a bright pink crelly base full of pink/lime/green/gold multichrome flakes. $10
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. I can’t praise these enough, once again perfect buttery smooth formula and easy application. My swatches and video kind of blew the base color out, so please be away in person this is a very bright Barbie pink.
This is Me Now! – Inspired by Gene, this is a bright yellow crelly base full of saphire blue/bright blue/teal multichrome flakes.$10
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. No issues here either and for a yellow I am pleased to report two coats was perfect. Very smooth application here as well.
Wish Upon a Tulip– a bright fuschia leaning hot pink crème.
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is on the medium side and really gives off a strong plump appearance on the nail that I absolutely love and go for when wearing creams. It damn near applies itself and if you go in heavy it’s easily a one coater. Please note, my swatches are leaning a little fluorescent pink, this is a true bright tulip pink in person.
Feeling Nauti – a bright blue creme with an indigo undertone.
Swatches show two thin coats with topcoat. I was given the honor of collabing and naming this beauty, and I requested a dupe for the OG Sally Hansen Pacific Blue. This is so amazing and wonderful, I recommend two thin coats, but going in normal/slightly heavy it is easily a one coater. Beautiful plumpness here, and strong self leveling.
Now, for a comparison of the two! I show application for both in my swatch video, formula for Pacific Blue is a bit thinner than Feeling Nauti. Feeling Nauti is just the SLIGHTEST bit brighter than Pacific Blue, but in person I’d still dub it a dupe with a more preferable formula. I know, I know the OG was revered for its formula but this girl likes heavy polishes that all but apply themselves to my nails. If you were not able to get your claws on Pacific Blue, I can’t recommend this enough. Also, if you are new to polish land, I still recommend picking this up. It’s seriously become my favorite blue ever (and I have well over 2500 polishes in my collection).
These will release 5/31 at 6pm MST in the shop, be sure to check out my swatch video to see the absolute perfect formula in action for all of these!
Thanks so much for reading! ❤
