Woot! Are you guys getting tired of my posts today? I told you all, I’m on a roll today with lots of pretties! This time I have Pahlish’s newest collection to share, The Space Land set! These are inspired by the anime Cowboy Bebop and the shimmer is for MILES here! Let’s get to swatches!
Heavy Metal Queen- a flamingo coral with soft aqua to rose pink shifting glow.
Swatches show three coats with topcoat. I’d like to note that I’m dealing with some serious ridges due to being back in the lab on campus and I handle very harsh detergets that tear up my nails so I apologize, I had to go a little heavier on my coats. Opacity can be reached between 2-3 coats. This is super glowy and dries down a little matte so I’d recommend a glossy topcoat to really make it pop.
Ganymede Elegy- a dark aqua cream packed with iridescent flakes.
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula feels very crelly like and gives a strong pond effect with all the flakies. It does dry down a little satin like so I’d recommend a glossy topcoat here as well. No texture after topcoat.
Mad Pierrot- a soft plym with a bright green to rose pink shifting glow.
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is on the medium side and builds up easily. The shimmer is so crazy strong here, you’ll see a vibrant green glow overall, that shifts over to a rosy pink at angles.
Waltz for Venus- a soft mulberry cream packed with iridescent flakes.
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula feels similar to Ganymede Elegy, and builds up quickly. This is also packed full of flakes, where I had no issues or textures with.
Space Cowboy- a deep velvet blue with a glowing red/copper/green shifting multichrome pigment.
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. For opacity I’d recommend 2-3 coats depending on nail length. This is so gorgeous, in person it’s just slightly darker however still a delicious midnight blue. The particle of the multichrome shimmer is of the larger variety so it gives a strong red/copper glow with green at angles. Easily my favorite pick of the set.
Boogie Woogie Feng Shui- a soft seashell pink with a strong coppery rose glow.
Swatches show three coats with topcoat. Formula feels similar to the other shimmers in the set and opacity can be reached at 2-3 coats depending on how you apply. This has a strong glow as well, and is so very flattering against that soft pink base.
The Space Land collection launches August 11 at 7pm CST on preorder until August 13. After that, they will be available through regular restocks on Sundays for a few weeks. Each polish is $11 each, or you can grab the set for $60. Be sure to check out my swatch video to see these beauties in action!
