Alright you lovely readers, I have the final post for this weekend to share with you all. Glam Polish’s Halloween launch is coming up this Friday and there will be 20 limited editions to peek at! I have five of them to show you all, and they are all inspired by various horror movies/pop culture references. If you’re new to the horror shop event, these are all limited editions that usually sell out pretty quickly, and once sold out are not restocked so I’d recommend getting in there at opening if you’re eyeballing any of them. I’ll link you guys to the Facebook fan group if you’d like to see the other 15 in the set. Let’s get to the swatches!
Lock, Shock, and Barrel– a white crelly with metallic and neon glitter mix.
Swatches show three coats with topcoat. Formula feels like a true crelly and I’d describe the base color as a true, bright white. I had no issues with the glitters and this does dry down matte. I’d suggest a good glossy topcoat to smooth everything over. I had no issues getting the glitters out of the bottle. This is literally Halloween in a bottle!
The Haunting of Hill House– a dark blurple crelly with strong aurora shimmer and ultra holo glitter.
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is crelly like and builds quickly to opacity. There’s a strong scattered sparkle and the shimmer takes center stage here as a vibrant coppery red that shifts to green at angles.
Child’s Play– a red jelly with iridescent flakies, aurora shimmer, and holo microglitter.
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is butter smooth on application and the shimmer and flakes give a strong warm glow against a cool toned base.
Slender Man– a blackened blurple jelly with shifting metallic flakies, iridescent flakes, aurora shimmer, and ultra holo glitter.
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is rich and jelly like and easily builds to opacity. There’s a strong dense sparkle on the nail. I’d suggest a good glossy topcoat to really make this one pop.
Neon Demon– a curuclean blue jelly with iridescent flakies and neon glitter mix.
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is rich and squishy on application. I’d describe this as a vibrant blue, though no quite neon- it’s still on the brighter side. No issues with the glitter mix either and no texture after topcoat.
Each polish will be $12.50. There will also be an option for all 20 polishes for $250. These will launch Friday, 9/27 at 2pm EST. Be sure to check out my swatch video to see these in action!
Thanks so much for watching! ❤
