Alright lovely readers! Are you ready for my next post? I am so very thankful to be a guest blogger for the Holo Hookup this month! October’s theme is Fall Harvest and the guest maker is Blush Lacquers! Yaay! I did a little spooky nail arting here too, and I was so excited to bust those plates out! Let’s get to the swatches!
Cupcake Polish Oh My Gourd!– an olive green linear holographic nail polish filled with silver, gold, and bronze micro flakes.
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. I’d classify this as a one coat wonder, it has a rich super smooth formula and applies crazy opaque. I did take it to two coats to as I prefer a thick application on my nails when I wear polish. No texture after topcoat.
And here I stamped with Maniology (formerly Bundle Monster) plate BM-S204 and Esmaltes da Kelly Gilda.
Different Dimension Hay There!– a medium brown cream based linear holographic polish with added aurora shimmer, UCC flakes, chameleon flakes, iridescent color shifting flakes, holographic microglitters, and holographic microflakes.
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. This applies very creamy on application like a smooth crelly. It is a touch on the thirsty side and dries down matte, so I’d recommend a glossy topcoat to really make all those sparkles pop.
I stamped a gradient using Esmaltes da Kelly Teddy and Chico, and Funky Fingers Gesso with Maniology (formerly Bundle Monster) plate BM-XL210 and Cici and Sisi plate 10.
Glisten & Glow Give Em’ Pumpkin To Talk About– a burnt orange linear jelly holo polish with added orange/red and purple/yellow UCC flakes, holo flakes, and red aurora shimmer.
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. This feels very glossy and smooth on application as well as very squishy and jelly. Those with longer nails might need three coats for opacity, though at my length I felt like it looked perfect at two. No texture after topcoat.
I then did some advanced stamping with polishes: Esmaltes da Kelly Bruce, Moonflower Polish Violeta and a plate that I can’t remember where I got it (either Aliexpress or Born Pretty) plate SPH-011.
Blush Lacquers Fleece’s Pieces– a blue teal linear holographic nail polish with a shifting pink/gold/green shimmer, violet pink/gold/green shifting iridescent flakes and holo flakes.
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is ultra smooth and buttery and applies very opaque on the nail. In person there is a strong shimmer appearance of a pinky violet, that shifts over to green at extreme angles. I tried catching it on the macro shots, but it was being a bit shy. Just note, in person this has a lot of depth and is very complex.
I added my favorite images of some cranky ghosts using Night Owl Lacquer Ya Basic White, and a Maniology plate (formerly Bundle Monster) BM-S205.
Preorder is currently on NOW through September 28th at 9pm EST so get in there and grab is before it closes! I also have full tutorials in the swatch video on how I made each nail art look and you can see allll that holo goodness. Boxes will be $40 plus shipping.
Thanks so much for reading! ❤
