Hello again lovely readers! I’m back this Sunday with Night Owl Lacquer’s new collection, she brings us a quartet of lovely fall shades and a new crème of the month! I know some of you are waiting on my PPU post (I can see the searches haha) and I have that up next, however I am waiting on one more polish! So if it comes in tomorrow I’ll have that ready to go Monday evening! Now, are you ready for some awesome flakes and multichrome goodness? I am. Let’s get to the swatches!
Crisp Air– an olive green base with a red/copper/gold multichrome shift.
Swatches show three coats with topcoat. Formula is ultra smooth on application and applies like a creamy jelly. Those of you with shorter nails I can easily see you getting away with two coats. The shimmer is crazy strong and mostly appears as a coppery red glow with gold appearing at angles.
Magic Hour– a smokey navy blue base with a red/copper/gold multichrome shift.
Swatches show three coats with topcoat. This one feels very similar to Crisp Air on application and I can also see those with shorter nails getting away with two coats. This one builds up to a deep, dark base but in person it’s easily noticeable as a dark navy grey. The shimmer is crazy strong here too, and mostly appears as a glowing red copper with gold at angles.
Cozy Sweater– a warm mustard crelly filled with copper/red/gold/green color shifting crystal chameleon flakies.
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is squishy and jelly like on application and builds up easily. Depending on your preference, a third thin coat might be needed. The base color flirts with being a Dijon mustard, and the flakes give a strong opal feel. No issues here, everything laid down nice and flat.
Wind Swirls– a smokey taupe crelly filled with copper/red/gold/green color shifting crystal chameleon flakes.
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is very similar to Cozy Sweater. I’d consider this as a cool toned cousin to Cozy Sweater, this is a lovely taupe base with a dusky feel. No issues to report either on the flakes!
Crème of the Month
Plum Intended– a smokey dark plum crème.
Swatches show two thin coats with topcoat. Per usual from this brand the crème is insanely satisfying on the brush strokes and self levels perfectly. This is a one coat polish, though I prefer two thin coats on one coaters as it gives that gorgeous plump appearance.
The Fall collection will be $12 each, or $44 for the set. The crème of the month will be $7. These will release October 27th (tonight!). Be sure to check out my swatch video to see these beauties in action!
Thanks so much for reading! ❤
