Hello again lovelies! I’m back with another Black Friday post, and this time we’ve got sale info and a new collection from Quixotic Polish! This set is another lovely mix of finishes that you can even mix and match a few for a variety of looks. I’ll have the sale info broken down at the end of the post, so let’s dive into the pretties!

Blue Fir– an emerald shimmer with green to blue shifting shimmer and holo micro flakes $10

Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula applies like a dense metallic and plumps out perfectly on the second coat. At angles in shaded lighting you’ll see a lovely blue shift come out and a sprinkling of holo from the tiny flakes. This dries down satin like so I’d recommend a glossy topcoat to really make it pop.

Winter’s eve– an icy baby blue shimmer with a aqua to purple to pink shifting micro flake $10

Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula applies like a crelly and self levels nicely. The shimmer is very strong in person and appears mostly in an aqua blue feel with purple and pink at angles. This also dries down satin like so I’d recommend a glossy topcoat.

Pixie Stick– A deep royal purple with blue to pink shimmer and decorated with silver micro galaxy glitter. $10

Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is feels like a dense crelly and builds up quickly. The shimmer is very strong and shifts over to a gorgeous magenta at angles.

Garland– a golden holographic base with beige to gold to green shifting pigments and holo micro flakes $10

Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula applies like a heavy metallic and really packs a punch with opacity. There’s so much going on here in a good way, you’ll see tons of holo from the micro flakes and a lovely green glow from the shimmer that shifts between gold and green depending on your lighting. This dries down satin like so I’d recommend a glossy topcoat here too.

Snow Cap– A translucent white base with pink to gold shimmer and pink to gold iridescent flakes. Can be used as a topper over a white base or works well on its own for a sheer, delicate look. $10

Swatches show two coats on it’s own with topcoat. This is delicate and lovely by itself, though you’ll see VNL regardless if you wear it at 2-3 coats. It’s got a squishy feel to the application and glows like crazy in a hot pink shade that shifts over to gold at angles. Reminds me of a unicorn! The last swatch shows one coat of Snow Cap over a white base, I apologize for it coming off warped in the picture, whites notoriously give me trouble but just note: over white it’s so iridescent and pretty!

Soirèe (Creme) – a royal blue creme opaque in 1-2 coats perfect for using as a base for toppers! Pairs well with “Sprinkling” our new pink iridescent topper! $8

Swatches show two coats without topcoat. Formula applies like a cream, but has a subtle squish like a crelly. This is a lovely rich royal blue in person (just a touch darker than my swatches in person). There’s a strong self leveling property here.

Sprinkling ( Topper) – a pink to gold to green iridescent micro flake topper similar to “Lei it On Me” but smaller particle! Best layered over a dark base especially our new royal blue creme, Soirèe! $8

Swatches show one coat over Soiree. The payoff for the one coat is wonderful and really pops like crazy! The particle size is on the larger end for an iridescent shimmer so I don’t really see anyone needing to go to two coats over a base (though if you want to be extra, no side eye here!). You’ll easily see shifts between the primary pink to gold and green at angles.

Evening Peace (Creme) A lavender leaning greige creme opaque in 1-2 coats, perfect for use as a base for our new topper “Fusion”! $8

Swatches show one coat with no topcoat. This has a heavier feel on opacity then Soiree and self levels perfectly on the nail. It has an ultra smooth, buttery feeling on the brush strokes and plumps out perfectly.

Fusion (Topper) – a greyed out purple crelly base packed with pink iridescent flakes. Best for use over pale creme bases of corresponding colors like the new creme (Evening Peace) or great for a sheer, delicate look on its own. $8

Swatches show two coats on its own with topcoat. Formula applies almost jelly like, and I can see a touch of my VNL showing, but I think it looks great on its own. The last shot of this is one coat over Evening Peace which gives an opaque look that really makes the flakes pop.
