Happy Friday readers! Today I have the new Sparkle and Shine box with guest maker Fair Maiden! This month’s theme is space and we have three awesome multichrome polishes to check out! Those of you subscribed to my channel heard me tease yesterday in one of my videos that I have a new light setup on the way, it should be arrived today YAAAY! So hopefully my multichrome game will be leveled up for 2020! I’m a little bummed it didn’t get here in time for this box, but trust me these are lovely and shifty in person! Let’s get to the swatches!
Nailed It!: Stellar Collision– blue to purple multichrome with red/gold crystal
flakies, and a scattered holo.
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. I’m really digging this brands new bottles, and the brush is a semi-fluffy paddle style that really helps with application. This dries down matte, so I’d recommend a glossy topcoat.
Wildflower Lacquer: Galactic Glow– a blue base with a yellow to red to gold multichrome shift with scattered crystal flakies, and holo flakies.
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is very dense, heavy and smooth on application and heavily flirts with being a one coater. Personally, I’d recommend going in with two thin coats and you’ll get that awesome plumped out effect. Out of the three, I was most upset that I did not do this one proper justice. The green glow at angles is very intense in person and there’s a ton of dimension. It’ll appear as a vampy inky blue (almost blackened) with a strong copper glow. This one also dries down matte, so I’d recommend a very glossy topcoat to make it pop.
Fair Maiden: Is There Life on Mars?– a red to gold multichrome with accompanying red-gold multichrome flakes.
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is metallic feeling and smooth on the brush strokes. This has a lovely warm shift to it, you’ll easily see the shift between red to gold depending on your lighting. This also dries down flat, so again I’d recommend a glossy topcoat.
Thanks so much for reading! ❤
