Happy Sunday lovely readers! I have quite a few posts to share today, so I’m hoping my computer behaves and I can crank out videos for your viewing delight! I have Pahlish’s newest collection to show you all today, and I am STOKED to show you all. I have been a fan of the Legend of Zelda video games for pretty much my entire life and Shannon has done these so incredibly well. Seriously, I couldn’t think of a better collection to represent the inspirations here. These are launching tonight, so let’s dive right in!
Korok Forest – bright aqua green with green/pink shifting glow
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula has a crelly feel with a strong squish factor to it. All polishes in this collection dry down semi-flat, so I’d recommend a glossy topcoat to really make their shimmers pop.
Ocarina of Time – soft taupe with rosey copper glow
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is similar to Korok Forest, though personally I feel like three thin coats will really exploit the shimmer in this one.
Song of Storms – bright violet with teal/purple shifting glow
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Again, the formula is very similar to the previous ones, and has a lot of iridescent glow to it. The shimmer is crazy strong in Song of Storms though!
Satori Mountain – rich raspberry with rosey copper glow
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Though this is also similar to the others, I felt like this one has just a touch more opacity and richness to it than the others. This one is crazy flattering and popped like crazy against me!
Zora’s Domain – sky blue with rosey copper glow
Swatches show three coats with topcoat. In terms of opacity, I felt like this one was similar to Ocarina, so I went thin on my coats and allowed it to slowly build up at three coats. The shimmer is very strong and the base color is so very flattering and vibrant.
