PRESS SAMPLE: these were sent to me for an honest review

Hello lovely readers! I have a new collection from Pahlish to show you all today! The Moonlight collection is inspired by the mythos of the goddess Elune, and they are so gorgeous and glow-ey! Let’s dive right in to the swatches!

Light of Elune – crisp white cream with bright green to rose shifting glow

Swatches show three coats with topcoat. Formula is very crelly like. The overall appearance is a stark white that is soft, with a delicate green shimmer. It reminds me of a pearl, though not the vintage type of finish if that makes sense. It looks like a subtle burnished shimmer was applied in the final look. I’d recommend not overworking your brush strokes to prevent any streaks.

Moonkin – golden ivory with rose copper glow

Swatches show three coats with topcoat. Formula is crelly like, but has a bit of squish to it. The base color is very unique and pretty, and I’d agree that it is a golden ivory. The shimmer is a bit stronger in this one, and appears as a rosey copper. I feel like my macro shots didn’t do this one justice, and my swatch video and full hand shots give a better idea of the shimmer appearance.

Shadowsong – bright strawberry pink with golden green to pink shifting glow

Swatches show three thin coats with topcoat. Formula is creamy and builds up easily. The shimmer is crazy strong here and appears as a golden green appearance. This plumps out nicely, and dries down flat, so I’d recommend a glossy topcoat.

Moonwell – faded blue cream with teal/pink/gold multichrome

Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is creamy and smooth and easily builds up to opacity. This was my top pick in the set, it’s so shifty and pretty. The base color is what I’d consider a tiny bit greyed out blue and the multichrome pigment glows teal in indoor lights with an easy pinky-purple shift. At extreme angles you’ll see the gold pop out. This dries down flat, so again I’d recommend a glossy topcoat.

Darkshore – midnight blue cream with green and gold multichrome and iridescent flakes

Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is jelly like and has a touch of squish to it. This builds up quickly to opacity and I had excellend flakie payoff on the brush strokes. No texture after topcoat.

Starshards – blackened copper with holographic sparks

Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula has a creamy feel and easily builds up to full coverage. The bas appears as a blackened shade, with the copper pigment warming it up. Starshards also dries down flat, so again I’d recommend a glossy topcoat to make it pop.
