Hello again lovely readers! I have Emily de Molly’s new releases to check out! I feel like it’s been a little while since we’ve seen some new pretties from her, and she’s coming in strong as usual! This time we have the new colors to take a peek at, and four new LEs that will launch along with these. At the end of the post, I have two of the four to show you all! Let’s dive right in!
Be The Solution: A silver holographic micro glitters in a pale nude base with a purple aurora shimmer. $12 USD / $14 AUD
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is dense and very opaque and the glitters gave me no issues. I feel like their particle type is one that is pretty smooth do I don’t think texture is an issue here. I went in just at touch heavier on my topcoat and my nails were smooth to the touch.
Consider The Source: A mauve crelly base with blue and red iridescent flakes as well as silver holographic flakes. $11 USD / $13 AUD
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is smooth and crelly like. I had no issues with the flakes and I got a gorgeous flakie payoff on the brush strokes. This dries down a little flat, so I’d recommend a glossy topcoat to make the flakes pop.
Give The Act Up: A pale steel blue base with assorted iridescent flakes in blue, green and orange. $11 USD / $13 AUD
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is very similar to Consider The Source and I had no issues here either.
Intensity: An ultramarine blue crelly with white glitters. $9 USD / $11 AUD
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is jelly like but applies so very opaque. This is so aptly named, as the base color is crazy intense. I had no staining issues with it and I did not need to carefully place the glitters. I can’t rave about this one enough, it’s gorgeous and after topcoating I had no issues with texture.
Leaking Words : A pale blue ( warm ) to teal green ( cold ) thermal with orange / green iridescent flakes. $11 USD / $13 AUD
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is smooth and crelly like. I really love both cold and warm states, they’re gorgeous! The flakes give a strong iridescent feel and pops really well against both colors.
Makeshift Wings: A pale mauve / brown base with green to blue shifting aurora shimmer. $11 USD / $13 AUD
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula applies very creamy on application and leans just at touch neutral on me. The shimmer is very strong and definitely resembles fairy wings.
Past, Present, Future: A light navy base with pink / orange / gold / green shifting aurora shimmer and silver holographic flakes. $12 USD / $14 AUD
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is dense and smooth on application and easily builds up. No texture after topcoat.
Shades Of Night: A dark purple base with pink / orange / green shifting aurora shimmer. $12 USD / $14 AUD
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is heavily flirting with being a one coater. I feel like the majority of the shift you’ll see here is the pink glow with the orange and green being at very extreme angles.
LE 203 – A dark navy holographic with orange / green shifting iridescent glitter. $10 USD / $12 AUD
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula applies creamy, but also slightly on the jelly like. I would classify this as a normal polish type and not a crelly as it applies more on the smooth side. No texture after topcoat.
LE 204 – A dark purple base with green overlay. $9 USD / $11 AUD
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is light, but still very dense on application and easy to build up. This is so packed full of shimmer that I’d suggest going in light with your brush strokes and trusting that this will self level out to prevent any streaks.
All of these will launch March 7th at 10am AEDT and March 26th at 7pm EDT in their respective shops. Be sure to check out my swatch video to see these in action!
