Hello lovely readers! I hope you are all well and safe! I have lots of new releases waiting to be edited and posted in case you’re wanting some good reading material and pretty polishes to look at. Amanda of Cuticula has created a lovely group custom for the Facebook fan group Indie Positivity. I’ll link you guys below to that group (and there’s a discount code in there too!) that you can use on this polish! Let’s take a peek!
Mermaid At Heart– a turquoise crelly with large red, purple, and green flakes generously spinkled with red, purple, and green metallic micro flakes leaving gorgeous shiny flashes of color throughout the polish. $11
Swatches show three coats with topcoat. Formula is smooth and creamy with a touch of crelly vibes to it on the brush strokes. Those with shorter nails might be able to get away with two coats, and it plumps very nicely on application. I had no issues with the flakes and everything laid down nice and flat for me. I topped off with her Limitless topcoat, and I was so, so glossy.
Here, I used the Cloud Cover matte topcoat. I’ve used this twice now and I must say I really like the formula on it. It’s smooth and ultra satisfying when you’re applying, and I really like how quickly it dries down. It gives a pretty harsh matte effect, and I don’t have to wait several minutes so that I can take my swatch pictures after topping off. A lot of matte topcoats I’ve tried are wonderful, but in my experience it takes a few minutes for the matte effect to fully dry down. I didn’t have that with this one and I felt like it was very quick to dry so that I can quickly move on with swatching.
Mermaid at Heart will be available from now until April 30th. You must be a member of Indie Positivity to grab your bottle, AND you’ll also get a code for a $1 off discount on your bottle! Be sure to check out my swatch video to see how this applies and a quickie tutorial of some mermaid nail art with it!
Thanks so much for reading! ❤
