*PRESS SAMPLE: these were sent to me for an honest review*
Hello again readers! I have a quickie mini post and one more additional post for you all today! Cuticula is releasing her April Sprinkle of the Month this Friday, and I’m here to show you all this wonderful shade! Let’s dive right in!
Grape Slush: a metallic purple plum. $11
Swatches show one coat with Cuticula’s Limitless glossy topcoat. Formula is dense, smooth, and very opaque on application. Even though it’s packed full of flakies, it stamps perfectly. I had no issues getting an image up with either a marshmallow stamper or clear jelly. I’d classify this as a stamping polish from its performance.
I wanted to be a little extra with some nail art for this one. I was craving some spring nails and I went in with a gradient and stamped Grape Slush over it using a Cici and Sisi plate from their pink book (unfortunately they are no longer making plates if you’re curious). I finished off with Cuticula’s Cloud Cover matte topcoat. I reviewed it in my previous Cuticula post, but in case you haven’t read it: it’s an awesome matte topcoat. I really like how quickly it dries down, especially when swatching. It offers a pretty harsh matte effect and you can also get it in the plethora of scents she offers in her shop.
Limitless and Cloud Cover are currently available! Grape Slush will go live Friday, April 17th at 8am PST. Be sure to check out my swatch video to see it in action along with a quickie tutorial of the nail art I did!
Thanks so much for reading! ❤
