*PRESS SAMPLE: these were sent to me for an honest review*

Hello lovely readers! It’s that time again! Polish Pickup is right around the corner and this month we have my FAVORITE theme. I know, every month I say I love the creations and inspirations but this month is just damn epic. There’s bright colors, confetti, sweet and bakery scents, and adorable charms. This month I have my biggest post yet at 31 items. Those of you who also watch the swatch video: I tried keeping it as short as possible! Let’s dive right into this sweet smorgasbord!

Apipila: Sweet Pink

  • Description: a pink stamping polish
  • Price: $9.00
  • Cap: 80US/20UK

Swatches show it as the pink swirl stamp in the background. This stamps excellent, and I had no trouble getting clean images from it. I do want to note, that in the swatch video you can see better detailing on my stamps, please note that any gaps you see is because I do not have pure acetone to properly clean my plates right now. I’m using some store bought polish remover and it’s been utter garbage for stamping. I do apologize about that, I’m trying my luck in stores for acetone but I haven’t found any yet!

Apipila: Candy Land Plate

  • Description: a stamping plate inspired by Candy Land
  • Inspiration: Candy Land
  • Price: $14.50
  • Cap: None

This plate is roughly the size of standard larger plates, especially if you’re familiar with Uber Chic plates. It is etched deeply, and also stamps wonderfully. I was totally going to grab this one anyway as it’s insanely cute. Below are two other stamping looks I created with it.

Baroness X: Acetone Antidote in the scent Violet Sweets

  • Description: an additive for your acetone to protect your skin from the harshness of acetone. It contains glycerin and jojoba oil to help protect and moisturize your nails, skin, and cuticles during polish removal. Plus, no more ashy, dry skin! Shake the vial and add the full bottle (.5oz) to 6-8oz of acetone. You can add the vial to more or less (down to 4oz of acetone per vial). These are just suggestions for optimal scent and protection from acetone, the ratio can vary due to personal preference.
  • Inspiration: Choward’s violet candy, a violet scent with candy notes.
  • Price: $4.25
  • Cap: None

When I normally have pure acetone, I love using one vial of this in my 8 ounce pump bottle. I also use one drop of this in a dappen dish with acetone for clean up too. This stuff is wonderful and leaves behind a lingering scent with moisturized cuticles. This month’s scent is lovely, its got a strong candy note but also an equally strong violet scent. It smells awesome.

  • Inspiration: Rock candy
  • Price: $13
  • Cap: None

Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is jelly like but builds up quickly. I think I could have stopped at two coats, but wanted to see what a third thin coat would appear as. The base color is a tricky thing. It really depends on your lighting how pink or how purple tinted it is.

  • Cap: None

I did a little nail art with the duo inspired by what I was smelling. My nose picks up a delightful strawberry lemonade with a strong cane sugar undertone. Wait for your topcoat to dry down and you’ll start smelling the scent. When applying the topcoat, make sure to use the bead method and you’ll get no streaking and lovely plumping action. I really like wearing the mic drop base coat at two coats when I am between swatching for strength and protection.

  • Price: $12.50
  • Cap: 300 US/20 UK

Swatches show two coats with Esmaltes da Kelly glitter smoothing topcoat duo. Formula is jelly like and rich, and builds up quickly. This has excellent glitter payoff on the brush strokes. It is thirsty for topcoat, so I’d suggest something like the smoothing duo to remove any texture.

Esmaltes da Kelly: Glitter Smoother Duo

  • Description: a glitter smoothing topcoat duo. Start off with the glitter smoother (the creamy looking one) and finish off with the glossy bottle.
  • Price: $15.00
  • Cap: None

You can see this in action on my swatch video and in the above shots. It is absolutely a must if you’re a glitter lover like myself. You apply the cloudy one first, wait a few minutes and then finish off with the glossy topcoat. This definitely smooths out any texture from harsh glitters.

First off, this scent is awesome. I get a dominant strawberry top note, but it definitely smells like a Now and Later! The cuticle remover is of the gentler type, and works wonderfully. You can see a full tutorial on my swatch video.
