PRESS SAMPLE: these were sent to me for an honest review
Hello lovely readers! I’m back with more new things to show you all! I literally have roughly 60 bottles sitting on my computer desk ready for editing and voicing over videos… WHEW! I’m starting off with Emily de Molly’s June releases. This collection features 10 polishes, and at the very end I have two limited editions (LE) to also show. LEs for this brand means that they are limited to what she’s got poured, so they won’t be restocked. On to the swatches!
A New Place- A light grey base with pink / gold / green chrome flakes. $9 USD / $11 AUD
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is crelly like and smooth on application. I did manage to get several of the larger flakes on my nails during swatching. While they are HUGE, I didn’t have any issues with texture as they are on the metallic side so they adhere very well to the nail.

Day To Day- A very pale brown with blue micro flakes. $9 USD / $11 AUD
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is creamy and smooth on application and self levels perfectly. I want to note the base is definitely a super pale brown, almost leaning as a light neutral taupe against my skin tone.

Distinct Lines- A dark berry pink base with metallic gold flakes and a silvery white magnetic effect. $10 USD / $12 AUD
Swatches show two coats, then magnetized, then topcoat. Formula is creamy and smooth and builds up easily. The magnetic pigment gives a silvery line, and doesn’t have too much movement to it so your line will stay put.

Hands Held High- A dusty pink base with very strong gold overlay. $9 USD / $11 AUD
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is creamy and smooth and dries down flat and somewhat matte, so I’d recommend a glossy topcoat to exploit the shimmer.

One More Try- A dark purple base with green / blue / purple shifting foil type shimmer and orange / red shifting glitters. $11 USD / $13 AUD
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula applies like a dense jelly and builds up quickly. I had no issues getting a strong scattering of glitters.

Only Us- A dark blurple base with blue iridescent flakes and pink / gold / green shifting shimmer. $11 USD / $13 AUD
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula applies like a very dense jelly and is crazy quick to build up to opacity. The flakes are larger, so go in slow with your brush strokes to allow them to settle out. This one is intense, and dries down very flat, so again I’d recommend a glossy topcoat to really get this to pop.

Open Work- A purple base with pink / gold / green shifting aurora shimmer.
$12 USD / $14 AUD
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is creamy and easy to build up. Lots of shift here, and you’ll see the background as the purple base.

Resort To Swim
A dark turquoise green base with pink / orange / green shifting aurora shimmer. $12 USD / $14 AUD
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is creamy and smooth on the nail. Some may need a third coat to full cover a prominent free edge.

Stuck In The Clouds- A dark blue base with copper / gold / green shifting aurora shimmer. $12 USD / $14 AUD
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. This reminds me of my favorite EdM EVER, Midnight Serenade. It’s like the more robust cousin with much larger shimmer particles. This is just a touch darker in person.

Thereabouts- A dark but vibrant purple crelly with neon pink glitters. $9 USD / $11 AUD
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is dense, and rich. I’d like to note that on my index, ring, and pinky nails I had no issues getting the glitters evenly dispersed; however on the swatch video I went ahead and did a bit of glitter placement to make everything evened out. I do swatch slower on the video, so that may have played a part because I didn’t have that issue on my other nails. I’d recommend a slightly thicker glossy topcoat to seal everything in.

LE 231 – A dark green base with pink / gold / green multichrome shimmer and silver holographic micro glitters. $9 USD / $11 AUD
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is smooth and creamy on application and builds up very quickly. No texture after topcoat.

LE 232 – A bright purple base with strong green to pink shifting shimmer. $9 USD / $11 AUD
Swatches show three coats with topcoat. This will really depend on your application preference as I think I went in overkill on the third coat. This type of purple is one I can totally get behind, it’s flattering and I think it’ll look great on any skin tone (your girl is super picky on purples). It dries down flat, so again I’d recommend a glossy topcoat.

All of these will launch June 11th at 10am AEST and June 10th at 8pm EDT in their respective shops. Be sure to check out my swatch video to see these in action!
