PRESS SAMPLE: these were sent to me for an honest review
Hello lovely readers! I’m back with the second part of Baroness X’s burnishing powders! These are so fun, and you can grab them with holo or just straight up multichrome goodness.
All of the powders in this post use BX’s Bind and Burnish base. Basically, you can use any base color underneath these. The magic trick is using the Binding base and applying it thinly to your nail. Wait roughly 45 seconds. I usually check to make sure it’s tacky, but not leaving my fingerprint. At that point, you can use the applicator and gently apply the product and use swiping motions to adhere the powders. Dust off the excess, and finish off with any topcoat of your choice! These all have a luminescent effect so it gives that gorgeous glassy look. I’m pretty lazy for nail art, so these are up my alley when I want a wow factor but don’t want to put in the work of stamping, etc.
You can grab the powders in starter kits that include a mini bottle of the Bind and Burnish base and applicator, or you can just grab the pots individually. Every pot comes with an applicator.
The base colors used in this post are all Baroness X jellies. I’ll note which one I used for each pot.
