PRESS SAMPLE: these were sent to me for an honest review
Hello all! I have two posts to show today. Flirtin Cosmetics is releasing a new summer collection and I have two of them to share. Let’s dive in!
Pacific Island: a medium blue jelly. From the maker: a blend of both new and old traditions, an evolving culture of it’s language, it’s food, it’s dance, and it’s music. This is a region of peace, harmony, security, social inclusion, and prosperity. This bright summer blue reflects the many sheltered blue bays and scarcely discovered surfing waves tucked along the coasts.
Swatches show three coats with topcoat. Formula is squishy and juicy and is true to a jelly, you’ll see your visible nail line. This has a very smooth formula and over a white base will pop like a cream. True to neons, both polishes dry down matte so I’d suggest a good glossy topcoat to make that juicy factor pop.
Tahitian Hula: a neon red jelly. From the maker: Tahitian dance comes from the islands of Tahiti. The more we understand these dances, the better we will be able to appreciate all of their nuances and their stories. Tahitian dance involves more hip movements for the story-telling. Tahitian dances are done to the rhythm of fast drum beats. The hip-shaking beauty and vibrancy of this dance is captured in this bright red, Tahitian Hula.
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is a bit creamier than Pacific and builds up a bit more opaque. This is what I would consider a very neon red. These shades are super difficult to swatch color wise, so please note while there is an almost orange undertone in person, it’s not a harsh orange.
These release June 29 (today)! Be sure to check out my swatch video to see these in action!
Thanks so much for reading! ❤
