PRESS SAMPLE: these were sent to me for an honest review
Hello lovely readers! We have another new collection to take a peek at today. I don’t know what it is about this month, but the makers are seriously bringing it! I have a desk full of polishes waiting for voicing over and posting and I must say, this month is fantastic for releases! Today I’m showing Pahlish’s newest Antiquity collection featuring two shimmers, two flakes, and two full coverage flakes. I love the inspiration here, so let’s dive right in!
Atlantis – bright turquoise cream with crushed gold flake
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is smooth and crelly like on application and builds up quickly.
Pompeii – fiery coral red with a mix of crushed gold flake and iridescent flakes
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. This is very vibrant and red hot in person, and the flakes give a ton of depth overall.
El Dorado – bright golden yellow with a mix of crushed gold flake and iridescent flakes
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula feels similar to Pompeii with a crelly feel and strong squish factor. It is very easy to build up.
Fountain of Youth – periwinkle cream with a green to pink shifting glow
Swatches show three coats with topcoat. Formula is creamy and smooth but has a bit of squish to it. I’m sporting a nasty repair on my middle nail, so that third coat could have been needed for it.
Hanging Gardens – pale peach cream with crushed gold flake
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is similar to Atlantis, and builds up easy and smooth.
Alexandria – soft neon pink with rose glow
Swatches show three coats with topcoat. Formula applies very similar to Fountain of Youth. Overall, this has a lighter formula but builds up quickly. I’d suggest a third thin coat to really make it glow.
The Antiquity collection goes up for preorder July 12 at 7pm CST through July 14 at 11:59pm CST. Each polish will be available for $12 each. After the preorder ships, these will be restocked regularly. Be sure to check out my swatch video to see these in action!
Thanks so much for reading! ❤
