PRESS SAMPLE: these were sent to me for an honest review
Hello lovely readers! I’m finally getting around to posting my Zoya Summer collection swatches! This is such a beautiful set. I really enjoyed this collection, and I have to say I’m so excited to see such a gorgeous mix of finishes and colors. (Looking at you purple lovers 😛 ) Let’s take a peek!
Jodi– a pale ice cream pink
Swatches show three coats with topcoat. Formula was a little light, but still self leveled well. I have a bad repair on my middle nail that might have played into the way I found it a little tricky. Trust me though, this color is worth it all. It builds up beautifully and that base color is EVERYTHING.
Emma– a starfish coral with a pink undertone
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is perfectly plumping and self levels very well. I think I can see the appeal with corals after wearing this.
Leilani– a glistening pink grapefruit with gold micro shimmer
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is light, but builds up easily and really pops with the shimmer and base color contrasting very well.
Celi– a sweet cherry red with gold micro shimmer
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula applies similar to Leilani and builds up very well.
Gretta– a ripe tomato red cream
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is medium and rich on application and self levels perfectly. For being a warm red, I though this looked amazing on me so I dare say this is a universally flattering red.
Kristie– a deep magenta popsicle pink cream
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is rich and dense and self levels strongly.
Jessica– an African violet cream
Swatches show two coats and applies similar to Kristie in richness and plumpness.
Maren– vibrant nautical blue cream
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is similar to Kristie and Jessica and is so delightfully rich and smooth. This is a true nautical blue, so it’s not quite medium blue but very deep.
Harbor– a tropical emerald sea green cream
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is similar to the previous rich and dense shades. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this color, it’s crazy flattering.
Fisher– a sunkissed sea foam with gold micro shimmer
Swatches show three coats with topcoat. Formula is crelly like with a bit of squish. I ‘d suggest allowing it to self level so you prevent any potential balding.
Corrina– a naked blush with a golden sheen
Swatches show three coats with topcoat. Formula is similar to Fisher. I want to note that while the base color is neutral, I though it popped very well against me.
Eclipse– a glistening silver with holographic rainbow sparkles
Swatches show two coats on its own with topcoat and one coat over Harbor. Overall, I’d describe this as a subtle sparkle, but offers a ton of frosty shimmery goodness in the overall appearance in the way it reflects light. It dries down flat, so I’d suggest a good glossy topcoat (along with the shimmers in this collection).
The Splash collection is available through Zoya’s site! I highly recommend signing up for their email list so you can have early info when they have sales (such as BOGO and set deals). I think they offer sales pretty frequently, so it’s worth it. I absolutely enjoyed this collection, they are all absolute stunners. My personal favorites are Jodi, Maren, and Harbor but honestly I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them. Don’t forget to check out my swatch video to see these in action!
Thanks so much for reading! ❤
Maren, Harbor, and Fisher are so beautiful, Zoya’s blues ALWAYS knock me out. Eclipse also looks lovely, have become more of a topper user this year so I might have to get that one too!
