PRESS SAMPLE: these were sent to me for an honest review
Hello lovely readers! A lot of my blogger packages have been delayed lately, so I have a few posts to show you all over the next few days of polishes that are recently released. Today I’m showing you all Potion Polish’s most recent collection! This time we have a part two to the Highlands collection that released last year. That was such a fun trio, and these are super gorgeous too! Let’s take a peek!
Chords In The Mist – Rich indigo jelly with holo flakies.
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is ultra smooth and buttery on application and very juicy after topcoat. I’d suggest a good glossy topcoat as this dries down borderline matte. I’d consider the base color a true indigo.
The Fairy Glen – Soft pinky peach crelly with red/orange/gold/green shifting chrome flakes, bright pink holo glitter and a touch of aurora shimmer.
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. This is very crelly like on application with a bit of squish on the brush strokes. Those with medium to deep skin tones like myself- this might pull a bit more neutral on you. Fairy Glen also has a subtle sparkle from it. For all three polishes in the set I’d suggest a good glossy topcoat as they all dry down very flat.
Isle of Skye – Bright blue crelly with red/orange/gold/green shifting chrome flakes and orange holo glitters.
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is crelly like, but has less squish and applies very smooth. I really like how the flakes and the base color contrast against one another and think this will also make an excellent transition into fall.
The Highlands pt. 2 are currently available through Potion Polish right now! Be sure to check out my swatch video to see these in action!
Thanks so much for reading! ❤
