PRESS SAMPLE: these were sent to me for an honest review
Hello again lovely readers! Continuing on with the fall-a-thon posts, I have a portion of Glam Polish’s Halloween Horror Shop LE’s to show you all. If you’re new to indie polish, each year Glam celebrates Halloween with several polishes inspired by pop culture around Halloween, and they’re very LE so once they’re sold out, they’re gone for good. This year there are twenty polishes, and I have five of them to show you all, so let’s take a peek!
Creepy Creeps With Eerie Eyes – Dark Teal jelly with shifting iridescent flakies and neon glitter mix.
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is jelly like with a strong squish factor. It builds up quickly so opacity can be reached between 2-3 coats. I actually wore this one to the grocery store after I worked on these and it just lit up under the produce lights haha. The flakes are so pretty and give a bit of a purple shift at angles (or in the grocery store).
Cult Of Chucky – Bright red crelly with sapphire glitter mix and aurora shimmer.
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is smooth and creamy and self levels well. The shimmer is on the subtle side against that base color. I’d suggest a glossy topcoat to smooth this one out.
In Our Town Of Halloween! – Grey crelly with multichrome flakies and metallic glitter mix.
Swatches show three coats with topcoat. Formula is crelly like and builds up easily.
Interview With The Vampire – Smokey Purple crelly with shifting iridescent flakies.
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is crelly like, but leans more on the cream side and is just at touch more dense than the previous one.
Monster Mash – Holo base with metallic glitter mix and shifting multichrome flakies.
Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is jelly like, but easy to build up. In the sun, the holo will light up. I had no issues getting loads of the glitters on to my nails so no need for fishing or anything like that.
The Sixth Annual Halloween Horror Shop Event launches Friday September 25th, 2pm EST. Again, these are very limited edition, so if you’re wanting them I’d set those alarms! You can grab them individually for $12.50 each, or $250 for all twenty. Be sure to check out my swatch video to see these in action, and head on over to Glam’s Facebook group to see the other fifteen in the set.
Thanks so much for reading!
