This year has been a wild one, you guys. We’ve dealt with a pandemic and the trials that accompany it. I know I’m not the only one that has been reaching for at home remedies in the midst of social distancing and trying to take care of, and maintain myself through do-it-yourself methods. While I am a nail polish/nail care blogger, I’ve also had to maintain my pedicures and brows at home as I have not gone to a salon all year!

Now if you tack on DIY self care along with the colder weather this time of year, you’ve got to find products that are going to hydrate and most importantly work. I’m always talking about my research for grad school and I’m constantly in gloves and full covered shoes while I’m in the lab. So naturally, on the weekends when I’m at home and taking care of my feet and nails I need products that are super moisturizing and can handle the dry, ashy skin that are the result of the week’s work in full PPE. All of this to say, I’d like to introduce you guys to a little secret treatment that I’ve discovered.

I know you guys are following my blog for hand nail care, but I also want to talk about the dreaded feet in this post too! I know most typically don’t want to discuss it, but we’ve got them and I’ve got two products to talk about that are awesome for foot care. If you’ve got dried, cracked feet, and are working your tail off for hours at a time standing up, I highly recommend these two products from Kerasal- the leading brand in tough to tackle foot problems; especially dry, cracked heels and nail repair.

Kerasal Intensive Foot Repair– a deeply moisturizing formula that gives results in one day! Kerasal’s unique combination of skin softening, moisturizing and exfoliating ingredients deliver visible results overnight for severely dry feet and cracked heels. In a user study, users found Kerasal Intensive Foot Repair to work better than their previous foot cream. Kerasal does more than a basic foot cream. It doesn’t just cover up dry skin with moisture. It exfoliates to loosen and remove hard, dry skin to deeply moisturize and repair dry, cracked feet. Benefits include:

  • Visible results overnight.
  • Exfoliate dry skin and moisturize deeply.
  • Approved by the American Podiatric Medical Association.
  • Paraben free

Ready to see my results?

This is after use, things are nice and smooth!
The formula feels like a balm, it’s heavy and trust me, a little goes a long way!
Here you can see my before. I’ve got super dry spots and hard cracks along my sole.
Another before shot, I’ve also got very dry heels.
And here is after: this is a few hours after I applied a pea sized amount to my feet. Let it soak in and work.
And here you can see how much better my heel looks after the first application. Again, this is a few hours after I applied Kerasal. I’d classify this as very much an intensive balm and I LOVE it.

Kerasal Multipurpose Nail Repair– formulated for multiple causes of nail damage. This Nail Repair solution can improve the appearance of nails that are damaged by nail fungus, nail psoriasis, gel manicures, or aging. After 8 weeks, over 90% of both nail fungus and nail psoriasis sufferers see an improvement in their nail appearance. Benefits include:

  • Reduces Discoloration

  • Clear and Odorless Formula

How do you use it? Apply a thin layer 2 times per day for the first week: once in the morning and once at night. After 1 week: apply once per day at night until desired results are achieved for up to 8 weeks. Allow a few minutes to dry after each application. Depending on the severity of the condition, 3 to 6 months of application may be needed to achieve full effect. Do not use this product with topical nail treatments unless advised by your doctor.

Alright you guys. I’ve been complaining for weeks on my channel and blog about some very severe breaks that I’ve patched. They have FINALLY grown out, but now I have damage were I did the repairs. Some snapped off and you can see where the glue peeling up has left me some weak spots.

Before. This is what they look like after the damage I did from the glue repairs.
Apply very thin coats and allow it to soak in to your nails. You want to apply it to your nails, and underneath if you have a free edge like me.
After I let it soak in. Again, a little goes a LONG way and you want to apply very thin. You can see on my middle and ring finger some of those weak spots almost look filled in.
