PRESS SAMPLE: these were sent to me for an honest review

Hello lovely readers! I have another awesome post to show you all today. Ethereal Lacquer is releasing a Sailor Moon inspired collection, with several polishes having their proceeds donated to various charities. Beautiful polishes, with a beautiful cause! Let’s take a peek!

In the Name of the Moon Collection (full set $90)

Gilded Galaxy– A mango yellow base with very small holographic flakes, red, gold to green iridescent flakies and a subtle copper shimmer. $12.50

Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is jelly like with a strong squish factor so I’d suggest going in light on your coats and taking it to two or three coats.

Zirconia– A deepened violet base with a linear holographic effect. $12.50

Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is dense and creamy and flirts with being a one coater. I’d suggest two light coats to plump it out.

Powerful Love– A brightened blue base with a gold, green, aqua to blue shifting shimmer and scattered holographic pigments. $12.50 all proceeds donated to The Trevor Project.

Swatches show three coats with topcoat. Formula is crelly like with a light squish factor. This builds up easily, and again I’d suggest light coats to allow it to slowly build up and maximize the shimmer payoff.

Space And Time– A deep turquoise base with an emerald, aqua, gold to fuscia multichrome pigment and scattered holographic flakes. $12.50

Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is dense and smooth, with a creme lean. I think most will be perfect at two coats. The shimmer is medium like in strength and at extreme angles you’ll see the gold shift.

Silver Crystal– A pure colorshifting shimmer polish with color shifts of gold, green, aqua, blue. At extreme angles you can also see purple, orange and pink. Best worn over white to showcase the entire shift range. $13.00

Swatches show one coats over a white creme. This is beautiful in person and my swatches don’t do it justice. It is literally a liquified pearl in a bottle. I think it’ll look great over any base, or on its own. Over white was something else.

Love And Justice– A bright violet jelly base full of iridescent flakies that shift pink, red, copper, gold to green. $12.50 all proceeds donated to AAJC

Swatches show three coats with topcoat. Formula is similar to Gilded Galaxy, so again I’d suggest going in thin on your coats and slowly building it up.

Black Moon– A pale pink base with a bright pink to orange shifting shimmer and scattered holographic flakies. $13.00

Swatches show three coats with topcoat. Formula is crelly like, but still has a strong squish factor. This is another color that I’d suggest going in with thin coats and allowing it to slowly build up to maximize the shimmer appearance.

In The Name Of The Moon– A bright and colorful turquoise jelly base with a bright pink to orange shifting shimmer. $12.50

Swatches show three coats with topcoat. Formula is jelly like with a strong squish factor. At the risk of repeating myself haha, I’d suggest going in thin and slowly building it up. I would consider the base color a softer appearance, and the shimmer is very intense here too.

Charity Polish

Blossom– A bright pink base with a hot pink to orange shifting shimmer. All proceeds donated to AAJC $12.00

Swatches show three coats with topcoat. Formula is crelly like with a squish factor. This is a lovely hot pink and at angles you’ll easily see an orange shift.

These will all release on pre-order January 15th at 8pm central time through January 22nd. All orders will receive a free sticker, and all full collection orders will receive a free iridescent rose! Use the code Ethereal75 for free shipping on orders over $75.
