PRESS SAMPLE: these were sent to me for an honest review

Hello again lovely readers! This month I have nine HHC contributions to show you all, so let’s dive right in!

By Dany Vianna: City of Stars

  • Description: a dark blue base packed full of micro glitters and a smattering of holographic flakes for added shine
  • Series: Mixed Tape
  • Price: $12
  • Cap: 100 bottles

Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula applies like a dense jelly and builds quickly. This dries down semi gloss, so I think any topcoat will be fine.

Cuticula: Shatter Me

  • Description: a charcoal base with a tinge of blue with iridescent shifting flakes from pink to orange, silver flakes, and rose gold flakes
  • Series: Lindsay Sterling
  • Price: $12.50
  • Cap: None

Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is crelly like with squish factor. I’d suggest two normal coats, or three thin coats but regardless the flakie payoff is excellent.

Femme Fatale: Sugar and Sequins

  • Description: a clear based topper full of assorted glitters in red, pink, magenta, purple, gold – shapes include dots, shreds, bars, squares, stars, hearts and hexes. As this is a topper it will not be opaque unless sponged on; top coat is a must however
  • Series: Candy
  • Price: $13
  • Cap: None

Swatches show one coats sponged over a milky base. This is so fun and has so many types of glitters. I’d suggest a glitter smoothing topcoat and glossy topcoat duo to finish it off as the glitters are quite large and chunky.

Kathleen and Co.: Garnet

  • Description: a deep blood red jelly with color shifting flakes, silver flakes and holo micro glitters
  • Series: Geology
  • Price: $12.50
  • Cap: 200 bottles

Swatches show three coats with topcoat. Formula is jelly like and deepens well at the third coat.

Night Owl Lacquer: The Great Fairy

  • Description: a lavender base filled with pink/gold/green & silver/aqua/pink crystal chameleon flakes and holographic micro flakies
  • Series: Breath of the Wild
  • Price: $13
  • Cap: None

Swatches show three coats with topcoat. Formula is crelly like with a light squish factor. I think three normal to lights coats will help the base color pop the best.

Pampered Polishes: Erotic Friend Fiction

  • Description: a deep, inky blue jelly with holo flakes, holo micro bar glitter, and an aurora shimmer
  • Series: Bob’s Burgers
  • Price: $12.50
  • Cap: None

Swatches show three coats with topcoat. Formula is dense and jelly like. I’d suggest three light coats to let it build up slowly to maximize the bar glitter payoff. It dries down very matte so I’d suggest a good glossy topcoat.

Penelope Luz: Merlin

  • Description: a dark blue with iridescent flakes green/blue/orange
  • Series: King Arthur
  • Price: $13
  • Cap: 200 bottles

Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is dense and jelly like. It builds up quickly, so depending on your application preference, 2-3 coats will be perfect.

Rogue Lacquer: Queen Bee

  • Description: a linear rainbow holographic base with holo flakes, multicolor ucc flakes
  • Series: London
  • Price: $13
  • Cap: None

Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is dense and rich on application and builds up quickly to opacity. I’d suggest a good glossy topcoat to finish it off.

Supernatural Lacquer: Fire

  • Description: a smokey ash crelly base with fiery multichrome shimmer, micro holo flake and a touch of holo pigment
  • Series: Elements
  • Price: $12.50
  • Cap: None

Swatches show three coats with topcoat. Formula is jelly like. I’d suggest going in lightly and allowing it to slowly build up to get a lot of shimmer. It starts off soft but builds quickly at the third coat.

These will release on pre-order January 14th at 12:01am Eastern Time thru January 21st at 11:59pm HST. Be sure to check out my swatch video to see these in action!
