*PRESS SAMPLE: these were sent to me for an honest review*

Hello lovely readers! Today I have fourteen items that will be featured alongside several others for February’s Hella Handmade Creations releases. We’ve got some lovely finishes and series inspirations so let’s take a peek!

All polishes are shown with a glossy topcoat.

By Dany Vianna: To The Revolution

  • Description: a clear to blue thermal with gold metalic, UCC, and iridescent flakes
  • Series: Mixtape
  • Price: $12
  • Cap: 100

Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is jelly like, but very smooth and easy to build to opacity.

Cuticula: Beyond the Veil

  • Description: a soft milky white full of holographic flakes, iridescent shifting flakes, chrome shifting flakes, and rainbow iridescent shifting glitters
  • Series: Lindsey Sterling
  • Price: $12.50
  • Cap: None

Swatches show three coats with topcoat. Formula is smooth and crelly like. Depending on your preference you may be able to stop at two coats. I loved the extra plumpness I got from a thin third coat, so totally your preference.

DRK Nails: All is On

  • Description: a lilac microflake magnetic topper mixed with aurora (larger size particle) that shifts from blue/pink/red/green
  • Series: Umbrella Academy
  • Price: $11.50
  • Cap: 200

Swatches show one coat over a black cream, glossy topcoat, and two coats of DRK’s Magic Magnetic topcoat. Formula is squishy and jelly on application. I think this would look great over any base color. The magnetic particles are on the heavier side, so I’d suggest going in twice if you’re using the Magic Magnetic topcoat like me. If you are magnetizing normally with a standard glossy topcoat, I’d suggest holding the magnet over your nail for just a bit longer to help the pigment move.

DRK Nails: No More Rumors

  • Description: an ultrachrome that shifts from an admiral blue, to violet, pink, red, bronze and green
  • Series: Umbrella Academy
  • Price: $13
  • Cap: 150

Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is rich on application and I primarily saw a dominant dark blue to purple shift with a glow-y bronze at angles.

Femme Fatale: Blackberry Fudge

  • Description: an odd sheer base (warm) with violet overlay that transitions to a ivory/brown when cold; filled with purple plum glitters in assorted sizes.
  • Series: Candy
  • Price: $13.50
  • Cap: none

Swatches show three coats with topcoat. Formula is jelly light and a touch light. I’d classify this as a very neutral thermal (both states). It leaned as a nude on me, so if you have medium to deep skin tones I think this will heavily play up against your undertones. It was transitioning very quickly for me, so please refer to my swatch video to get a good idea of the cold state.

Hearts & Promises: He Had it Coming

  • Description: a linear holo, black to red multichrome, with pink sparks
  • Series: Broadway Musicals
  • Price: $12
  • Cap: 200

Swatches show three coats with topcoat. Formula is jelly like and builds easily. I’d suggest three coats to deepen out the overall look.

Indie by Patty Lopes: Clementine

  • Description: a teal polish with micro glitters
  • Series: Westworld
  • Price: $12
  • Cap: 100

Swatches show three coats with topcoat. Formula is squishy and jelly like. The glitters are a touch larger than what I think of in terms of micro glitters. It doesn’t dry down overly gritty, however it is thirsty for topcoat so I’d suggest using a glitter smoothing topcoat along with your normal topcoat.

Indie by Patty Lopes: Wyatt’s Gang

  • Description: a magnetic topper with rainbow micro glitters
  • Series: Westworld
  • Price: $12
  • Cap: 50

Swatches show two coats with topcoat and DRK’s Magic Magnetic topcoat. Formula is light and jelly feeling. I think this would look great over any cream base.

MLF Lacquer: Pipevine Swallowtail

  • Description: a dark turquoise jelly with a green/turquoise/blue shimmer and linear holo
  • Series: Butterfly
  • Price: $11
  • Cap: 100

Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is creamy and dense on application and very smooth. I think two coats will be perfect for most.

Night Owl Lacquer: It Has Legs!

  • Description: a black base with gun metal micro flakies, silver galaxy holographic micro glitter, bright silver flakes and purple/red/gold & blue/purple/red crystal chameleon flakes
  • Series: Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
  • Price: $12.80
  • Cap: None

Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is dense and jelly like. This builds quickly and dries thirsty, so again I’d suggest a glitter smoothing topcoat.

Pampered Polishes: Charm Bomb

  • Description: a flamingo pink base loaded with platinum and holographic flakes
  • Series: Bob’s Burgers
  • Price: $13
  • Cap: None

Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is creamy and smooth. This dries down matte, so depending on your preference I’d finish with a matte (to compliment) topcoat or glossy topcoat.

Penelope Luz: Morgane Le Fey

  • Description: a greige magnetic with red/gold effect and some Galaxy Gold
  • Series: King Arthur
  • Price: $13
  • Cap: 200

Swatches show three coats with topcoat, and magnetized using DRK’s Magic Magnetic topcoat. Formula is light and jelly. This leaned very neutral on me. The magnetic pigment was a touch subtle for me, and showed as a pinky golden shift.

Rogue Lacquer: London Eye

  • Description: a black base multichrome with black to red shift, rainbow color shifting flakes, and scattered holo flake
  • Series: London
  • Price: $13
  • Cap: 250

Swatches show two coats with topcoat. Formula is rich and dense. I’d suggest going in light on your coats as the flakes are heavy and it’ll allow them to lay down flat. This builds easily, so go in slow.

Supernatural Lacquer: Air

  • Description: a dusty periwinkle base with blue/ indigo/ purple aurora shift, orange/gold color shift flakes, and holographic micro flakes
  • Series: Elemental
  • Price: $12.50
  • Cap: 125

Swatches show three coats with topcoat. Formula is crelly like. If you prefer a softer glow look, you may be able to get away with two coats, but I thought the third coat helped plump it out for my preference.

The pre-order will run February 14th at 12:01am Eastern time through February 21st at 11:59pm HST. The site is currently up for previewing. Be sure to check out my swatch video to see these in action!
